Farrell
I started my career in the advertising / design industry, becoming an award-winning User Experience Design Director making all sorts of websites for all sorts of clients and users.
In 2016, after designing the AnalogFolk New York office (where I was leading the UX department), I decided to pivot toward designing physical spaces rather than digital ones, and created Farrell + Daughters.
I now bring my deep knowledge of human-centered design, flow, and emotional affordance to the interior design world, hoping to inject some soul into the process and shake things up a bit with my own way of doing things.
& Daughters
Naming the company after my family was enormously important to me. I am a daughter, raised by DIY expert parents Pat and Val, using knowledge (and often tools) passed down through the generations of Farrells.
My fur daughters (Eleanor Rigby and Scout) contribute to the studio through morale boosting snuggles, providing unique design constraints, and excellent supervisory skills.
